the loss of a chinese restaurant

Today one of my favourite buildings in the harbour was demolished. It feels like a great loss, very sad. But demolition always has a beauty to it, the dust, the light, the machines...

Great picture with the backlit clouds of dust and the worker walking away with disinterest. There is always a sadness when a building is demolished, it's like dismantling part of the lives of people who have lived and worked there. I have a great affinity with buidings where I have lived and worked ... and as for the loss of a good Chinese restaurant - well!!!
