A pair of Bald eagles nest at Core Creek County Park. During the early spring time they have a regular following of birders and photographers watching them. The area near the nest is protected by law to keep the curious from getting to close and disturbing the eagles. I have tried over the past three years to get a really good close shot of the eagles, but they have always eluded me. This picture is taken from about 1/5 of a mile away. My Canon S5 is stretched as far as it will go, Using a Sony 1.7X converter and full optical zoom which equals about 734mm. Maybe next year!
