Denali, or "The Great One" in native American language, exemplifies the grandness of Alaska. Mount McKinley is the tallest peak in North America, and there are abundant wildlife to be seen in the Denali National Park and Preserve. As only the first 15 miles of the only road in the park was open when we visited the park, we also spent time along Denali Highway and in the Denali State Park.
