Trouble Ahead...

You could always tell when you were getting close to a big storm. The weather would change rather abruptly from clear blue sky or nice puffy clouds to dark, ominous clouds. Here we are about to fly through a line of small rain showers which will begin our journey to the eye. These usually did no more than give the airplane a nice freshwater bath. Depending on the size of the storm, we could be anywhere from 50 to 200 miles from the center.
