Images From Freeport Mine

An amazing week in Papua took me, two other teachers, and eighteen students to the Freeport Copper and Gold mine in the highlands of Irian Jaya, now called Papua, Indonesia. It was an unbelievable trip, and the mine and the road leading up to the mine was spell-bounding. The mine is located near the equatorial glaciers of Irian Jaya at nearly 14,000 feet. Hard to believe you are only a few degrees south of the equator when up at the top.

Here are a few images I took while at the mine. Not many people on earth have been to this location...it is very remote. Please enjoy the photos, and feel free to vote if you think they deserve it....

This is what Americans and its Alies are doing, stealing, murdering, destruction of enviroment and committing genocide in the name of development and are robbers in the day light. They have not met the rights of the people West Papua which Independence and liberty but in the midst of protecting Indonesia from communism, they have made Indonesia to hold onto West Papua while they kill them through stealing the resources of the country and "you can survive also to keep your over populated country alive"? What absolut horrow sometimes Democracy plays in Economy! Stupidity and murder is their democracy - look at the Middle East? West Papua New National Congress.

Nice pictures of a company operation that is backed by thieving, murdering bastards from the USA, UN and Indonesia. Check out West Papua on Wikipedia and see how Kissinger put this operation together in 196? and is now a big wig (on the board of directors) at freeport mining. See for yourself how government officials operate. Freeport mining will lose all this when West Papua is rid of the invaders. To this day the USA, UN and Indonesia are guilty of systematic genocide. Kissinger and his thieving group will pay.

I am an Indonesian that just studied about Papua condition. How great the money that Freeport get from the mine, and how great is the environmental destruction Papua get!
