This shot is from inside a Kohler faucet fabricating factory just outside of Beijing. The general manager of the factory explained to our class what a wonderful work ethic these employees have. They were grateful for the employment and wages, even though they were only $450 per month. When there was a job opening at this factory, they would post the position on their internal bulletin board and the next Monday there would be hundreds of eager candidates applying for the position. Unbelievable (and a bit scary) the raw human power still untapped in this country.
