End of the road for my 2000 BMW 1150GS. I hit a "sand hole" on the highway at about 60mph. Thanks to good gear and good karma I walked away with a sore right thumb. Any day that you can put a bike down at 60mph and walk away is a very good day. My friends turned the bike over and Jon rode it out of the ditch and back onto the highway. It required a pickup truck to haul it to the nearest town - Labrador City, some 35 miles away.
