..Biosphere II, built from 1989 to 1991, airtight inside. A giant greenhouse of sorts north of Tucson behind the Catalina Mountains. A few years ago there was word it was going to be raized, but now the University of Arizona is managing it and there are many, ongoing biological experiments as they can control climate parameters inside very well.
