The title not only refers to the trash on the table, but also to the beverage itself. My wife and I don't drink a lot of sparkling wines. We did try toasting in the New Year with a small 187 ml bottle of something or other, that we got from some unremembered source, who knows how many years ago. It had very definitely gone bad. Oh, well.
