I constructed a cheap slide copier out of Foamcore, for my S602Z. I used macro mode, and stopped way down to get as much sharpness as possible. The exposures were long, but nothing can move relative to the lens, so it doesn't matter. For illumination, I used an 8.5 x 11 piece of white paper, a few inches behind the slide, illuminated by an overhead light. The sample images were cropped, brightness, contrast, and color adjusted just a bit, sharpened a bit, and that's it.
The slides were from the 1982 national convention of a car club I'm in. They are Sunbeam Tigers and Alpines. I will be making a set of them available to the newsletter editor for filler in future issues.
