I am deeply saddened to tell you that sasha has passed on today. She was hospitalized for a GI problem and difficulty walking the end of February. She was at home today when she had difficulty breathing. I took her to the hospital where it was learned that she had an abdominal bleed caused by spleen and liver hemangiosarcoma (cancer). She was bleeding internally and nothing could be done to save her. I put her to sleep at the veterinary hospital today March 3, 2015 at 2:20pm. She went peacefully in the loving company of me, her best friend, my son, my wife, and her doctor without whom she would have never lived as long as she did. She was a great dog and friend to all that touched her life. I loved her more than anything in this world as she loved me. Take care to all of you and thank you for being a part of her life!
