Double High Voltage Trouble

EAST BRUNSWICK- Tuesday, 4/10/07 2:01pm -- The driver of a tractor trailer snagged a wire and pulled down two telephone poles alongside 35 Cotters Lane. Another driver refused medical attention at the scene after a guy-wire connected to one of the poles crushed the roof and windshield of his two week old Nissan Frontier pickup truck while he was sitting in it. The utility company arrived quickly to cut the power. Another parked vehicle was also damaged in the accident. East Brunswick Independent Fire Company, East Brunswick Police, Trans-Med Ambulance Service and Public Service Electric & Gas responded to the scene.
