This snake was huge! The red warming light adds a nice effect.

This photo was taken in very low light and through glass using flash.

SAYER. THE REASON FOR THE FOGGY EYE IS THE SNAKE IS READY TO MOLT IT,S SKIN. VERY NICE SHOT.

Amazing eyes! I'd be glad there was glass between us when shooting all these guys. I'll never be comfortable being around any snakes after an encounter many years ago. I'd set up taken shots along a river bank, doing time exposures at night. I came back to find a water snake had wrapped it's self around my tripod legs...
