these are called "stinkbugs" at my old house. if you hold them, they secrete a veeeeeeeery stinky substance. dont manhandle them! :) P.S. great picture!

Yep, looks like a shield bug to me, sometimes they are bright green and sometimes this colour. Excellent shot which even shows up the little facets on its eyes. I hate these bugs, even Pad hates them lol.
