The canal is blocked off and the kayakers decided to carry them elsewhere. As I started to cross the canal on a footbridge, the colorful kayaks caught my attention and I decided to snap a few photos. A woman (Cornelia, if I remember her name correctly) on the bridge started to laugh and said that her husband, who likes photography, would have been snapping away as well.
Cornelia described the bobbing kayaks being carried away as looking like colorful leaves blowing in the wind, similar to the fall foliage we were at the park to enjoy. Her words were more eloquent then what I write here and they described the scene perfectly.
