This elevator was originally built by my grandfather. The company that designed and built it was Mayer-Osborn of Denver, Colorado. They operated in the 1940's and 1950's. As you can see, extra capacity was added later, covering up part of the town name. The rounded top was typical of my grandfather's elevators, which were built all over the plains and western states. The company name is found on the steel port covers, and there may be a plaque or sign identifying the elevator inside the building. This is a very nice photograph of it.
