Although the x530 has a ISO400 setting, I haven't seen a situation in which the auto exposure/setting functions and modes have selected ISO400. I manually set ISO400 and ISO200 for these JPEGs. I routinely shoot (and the camera selects) satisfactory exposures at ISO200 as well as ISO100 but I haven't gotten any good shots at ISO400 -- or tried a noise reduction program.
