At last, I have finished processing the shots I took at Gigrin farm, way back in May. The gallery is now finished (apart from a little rearranging and captions) and can be found by following the link below. Although most of the attention is on the visiting kites and buzzards, other birds do also fly in for a free feed. Amongst these are usually a heron or two, however I can shoot these near my house so I normally concentrated on the raptors. I couldn't resist this shot though, I spotted this heron stalking along behind two buzzards and immediately thought of some VIP flanked by his bodyguards. This is a straight shot, not a montage, the only PS work being to levels etc.
To see the rest of the Gigrin Farm gallery, just click on the thumbnail below - showing a red kite swallowing a large piece of chicken, while keeping a wary eye on the telephoto lens poking out from the hide.
