Timing has been a problem today, combined with a dash of Sod's Law. I had 5 calls to make this morning, with a reasonable time to get between each one, allowing time for photography. Unfortunately the day has been overcast for much of the time, with the sun coming out at the times I was busy. I wanted to get this shot with the sun out, so I could have nice bright colours and shadows to add to the pattern. Naturally the sun kept itself tucked behind the clouds, while I sat there for 15 minutes waiting for it to co-operate. I was just about out of time, when a gap in the clouds appeared and a brief flare of sunlight lit up the scene. This was a case of third time lucky, the first two places I stopped, the sun stayed behind the clouds - until I drove off, when I was bathed in glorious sunshine.
At least I managed to get a colour shot today, without resorting to black & white.
Comments are welcome, as always. Thanks.
