Part of Ford's Tracy Island action display at the Motor Show this year, this is Thunderbird 1 preparing to lift off. It only actually rises a few feet, then the 'launch' is aborted as bad guys swarm the stage. Unfortunately the crush of people around the stand meant that a tripod was out of the question and the low light levels meant shutter speeds were too long to take action shots. I managed to get this shot with only slight camera shake. I particularly liked the reflections in the pool.
