After the array of flowers I posted yesterday failed to grab anyones attention, I have gone minimalist today. Just the ONE flower. I was attracted to this shot by the vast expanse of barren soil with just the one flower standing alone, the symbolism was immediate - shoot wide and show the whole field stretching off to the buildings in the distance.

Actually, I have to confess, you don't need to feel sorry for this little chap. He is part of a display of bedding flowers, on the edge of the field. I just shot from an angle to exclude the others.
