Metering Tests

This tests illustrates how the default "evaluative metering" is influenced by the "active" focus target. All shots were taken in aperture priority at F 11, allowing the "evaluative metering" to select the shutter speed for the exposure.

Is the lessonn here something along he lines of just shoot a lot of permutations when shooting under diffuclt situations such as this? Or, is there somehing that can be generalized more broadly?
