Busch Gardens

These images were taken with the EF 75-300mm f4-5.6 IS USM lens at Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL. All were shot in large/fine jpg mode using the default parameter 1 setting. (See the Silver Springs Gallery to compare with the parameter 2 setting). All images were worked in PhotoShop and most received liberal use of USM at full size and a lighter USM in the web-sized image. Comments and suggestions welcome. ~~~ jim

Hi Jim, I'm thinking of buying a Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III zoom lense, like the one you used here. What do you think about this lense? How is the sharpness? How about the color accuracy and light, and distortion? Any chromatic aberations? It looks like its a good value at under 200 bucks. Any info on this lense would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jim,

I just got a canon digital rebel and haven't used it yet. I am glad to see it can take wonderful photos! At least with YOU holding it!

Jim, Outstanding job. Glad to see you used many ISO settings and f-stops. Thats lens did a great job. The ISO800 shots were a lot better than I expected.
