Bosque del Apache

The ever amusing Road Runner is one of the year round residents to the Bosque. I found
this one lazing around enjoying the warm morning sun, before running off to find breakfast.

Can't believe I completely forgot about the cartoon character, and it's my favorite cartoon!! I must be getting all together too serious about photography when I forget about Whiley and the Road Runner, and all their crazy antics!! And to answer John, Wiley was around too, but he had other birds to chase... thousands of them!!!
