Depp. Johnny Depp. The star, the icon...ok, his "likeness" if you will :-)

I became a fan when I realized he also had his struggles with tobacco. In 2009,
I came across his quote below and it became one of my favorites because of what
he said about "The luxury wild-card smoke." Not sure why, but it had me cracking
up. Probably because only a smoker could relate to this:

"I've weaned myself down to about, on a great day, on a really great day,
three cigarettes.

For a nicotine junkie the essential cigs are three: the first-of-the-day cigarette
smoked after lunch, the after-dinner cigarette and then the one taken
whenever you want - the luxury-wild-card smoke.

It used to be quite a bit more. It used to be, I'd smoke the table.
I'd smoke the patch. I'd smoke the gum. So I feel good about it."

Note: Glad to say I was finally able to quit the smokes, over a year now I gather.
Johnny, I'm not sure. I think he quit, but went back to it. But ah, what does it
matter, he's Johnny Depp man! He can smoke whatever he wants :-)
