Digital Buddies

With a digital file and Photoshop, it's easy
to do silly stuff like this...a smile and a
cup of coffee for ya! You could, potentially,
sell me on digital. But you ain't getting pass
the kid :-)

The kid looks like it has to put up with the nonsense of the grownups. My heart goes out to you little one :). V

Love this version. I feel connected with it. v

I know nothing about art or photography. To me, images are a wonderful means that broadens my visual library and enlightens my inner vision. I don't really care what kind of "art form" the image is, be it photography, digial art, painting, sculpture, whatever.

Thanks for your insightful comments Liz. A thoughtful comment like this is worth more to me than any vote or popularity poll! I pm'd you on the rest :-)

IMHO, this makes a statement. While images like this can be "fun" to do & "digital art" definitely does have its place, there has become a fine line these days as to what is really photography. Is it what one has seen in real life? Or is it what one images or wishes that he/she has seen? Or is it something even more different? A painting and a photograph are both art. Plus the art of photography has always been filled with artist nuances and interpretation. However, where exactly does the line between digital art and photography now fall? Some say there is no longer a dividing line & they are all one in the same. I wonder.
