Raddy-Rad pimpin' out with the radical new
Leica S2, which appears to be larger than
Rad's head :-)
The camera has a sensor that is 56% larger than
35mm full-frame sensors, and 37.5 megapixels.
While I love the concept of this big brute of a
camera, I quietly told Rad, with all due respect,
'It won't work.'
Why? Because even though fashion and advertising guys
may love it, at the estimated $25-45K price range
(no one knows for sure yet), not many of us will
get to buy one, let alone try one.
As much as I love Leica, this is one company that
is stuck in its old ways and just doesn't get it.
For a company that just came from the brink of collapse
and bankruptcy, I don't think this is the way to
sell lots of cameras. I hope I'm wrong.
