Allright folks had to reply when i saw the message suggesting this pic was tampered with. Well to be honest it is my good friend jim took it from a boring pic of Barcelona's unfinished cathedral and turned it into this....how ? he made it black and white! that is the only tampering that has gone on otherwise this pic is as you see it and as i saw it on the day ! cheers for all the positive comments andy
How do you take back a vote? This is a fantastic shot but the vote belongs to your friend. The tonal range is exquisite and the contrast balance is perfect. Such a harsh yet delicate image. I saw it as a thumbnail and loved it. I do wonder how much of this is real and what was achieved through the image editor. Not that this matters as it is the final image that counts and this is definitely a stunning final result. Mind you, the final result should be to see this shot in a gallery together with others of the same caliber. Hehehe, that is probably why I thought that it was yours to begin with...

Totally agree with Eckhart. Tell Andy to open an account. From this photo it seems that we're going to spend much time in his work. But, for sure, pbase is highly addictive. Although it deserves it. So, we're waiting for Andy.
