Why watch: The Raiders are going for their second two-game winning
streak of the season.
Rewind: The Raiders thought they had beaten the Broncos in Denver on
Sept. 16 when Sebastian Janikowski made a 52-yard field goal in
overtime. But Broncos coach Mike Shanahan called a timeout just before
the kick. Janikowski missed the next kick, and the Raiders went on to
lose 23-20.
WHO'S THE MAN?
Derrick Burgess
RAIDERS DEFENSIVE END
He has at least one sack in three consecutive games. And when the
two-time Pro Bowl selection gets on a roll, he's one of the best in the NFL.
RAIDERS
SCOUTING REPORT
The Raiders again have reason for concern at quarterback. Daunte
Culpepper's sore right leg could keep him out. Josh McCown would start
for him, but he'd be playing with stitches in his left hand after
dislocating his little finger Wednesday.
Hello? Is the run defense there? The Raiders made a big stop last week
on fourth and one against Kansas City that helped win the game. But they
gave up 150 yards to Kolby Smith before that.
Even though he has been a starter for only a month, running back
Justin Fargas entered the week 12th in the NFL with 717 rushing yards.

BRONCOS
SCOUTING REPORT
The Broncos can be had in the passing game. Denver plays a lot of man
coverage, and of the 17 touchdown passes the Broncos have allowed, seven
have been 40 yards or more.
In just his second season, Brandon Marshall has become quarterback Jay
Cutler's primary target. He leads Denver with 59 catches for 847 yards.
Another emerging player for the Broncos is second-year tight end Tony
Scheffler. He didn't have a catch in the first four games but has 28 for
312 yards and three touchdowns since.

MATCHUP TO WATCH
RAIDERS WIDE RECEIVER JERRY PORTER VS. BRONCOS CORNERBACK DRE' BLY
Porter beat Bly for a touchdown in Week 2 and would have had at least
one more on Bly if Josh McCown had been more accurate. Porter has been
the Raiders' deep threat this season with 10 of his 29 catches gaining
20 or more yards.
