•• NYAC Anglers and family enjoyed a trip to Abaco, Bahamas and stayed at the new Delphi Club at Rolling Harbour, with great accommodations, food, and wonderfully challenging bonefish. The day after the national elections, we rested from fishing and took a ferry to Hope Town, on Elbow Cay, with a ride on the back of a small pickup to Firefly Resort for lunch!
•• There is much natural life to explore at the lodge property along with Abaco Parrots, and migratory birds, which naturalist Caroline could show you on a nature tour. There's even a woodpecker box outside the Great Room with a West Indian Woodpecker pecking away. Look for curly tail lizards too!
•• The perigee full moon caused dramatic high tides and bonefish feeding in the mangroves under the bright moonlight. That made it tougher for us angling during the day!
•• Abaco Bonefish strain has a gorgeous blue tail that is hard to to capture on digital. These bones are strong fighters and I think the most attractive bonefish i've seen!
