Herringbone Bowl

My first attempt at a stack lamination with a feature strip. This pot from a plan has 21 different layers of wood that include: Walnut, Maple Burl, Purpleheart, Ash, Ebony, Red & Holly Veneers. From a plan I bought online, this project is built up on the lathe turning the inside and outside as you go; very time consuming but not really that difficult. The herringbone feature strip took perhaps as much time as the rest of the project - next time the joint lines will be tighter!
