It is not often that you get a two Saw-Whet day, let alone in Ottawa. This is Bird No.2, of two present at this site today. Both within 100 feet of each other. This one was 12 feet high and 30 feet from the main trail. I strongly suspected a third bird, however, it was very hard going through the snow and off the trail to search.
