Quiscalus mexicanus
We have many Common Grackles visiting the back yard, but when this bird showed up in
the flock, I knew it could not be a female Common Grackle. The coloration and faint
stripe behind the eye have me convinced it is a Great-tailed Grackle. I have not seen
any male Great-tailed Grackles here yet, to my knowledge.
The picture is not very good quality, taken through a window early in the
morning, at a very high ISO.
