What more can I say, mon ange? Once again, you have captured more than just a snapshot of a country, or of a person, or a scene. You have an outstanding gift of expressing your deeply personal experiences, conveying a pallet of emotions, while maintaining the uniqueness, truth and beauty of the Vietnamese people and landscape. I see you in all these pictures.

You tell us more than we could know about these people, and more about yourself. You SEE things, Ruthie (in a sane way ;p); your eyes are wide open, and I feel SO touched every time I see your work.
