Genius Bar

San Diego, CA

No this is not Gary Winter’s office. It is the Apple Store in University Towne Centre. If you still use a Window’s based personal computer (which is so yesterday ) you may never have been in one of the teeming Apple retail stores. What amazes me are the huge crowds of people buying, taking lessons, and getting support. I’ve never seen anything akin to it in any PC retail store. There must have been 8 to 10 eager "geniuses" serving and helping. And they know their stuff.

This quality of service and attention in this country is RARE.

I had a small glitch with my iPhone which they fixed in 30 seconds (operator error on my part), and I dropped off my Mac Book Pro to be serviced. Such a joy. I was even able to make my appointment (to the minute) online from home in advance.

That's why I have a mac, too!

I love the Mac store in London too. Can't understand why anyone buys a PC haha.

This DOES remind me of my office. Wait...this place is clean, and the folks know what they're doing. Never mind.

I'm probably going in next week to have them check out my CD drive. Hums a bit too loud. And my mouse is all freakatory.

Yada, yada, yada....Dan and I have had this debate. I LOVE my Dell. The only thing I need Apple for is my IPod!
But, I have never been the sharpest tool in the toolbox....

This is a message from So Yesterday. All new brooms sweep clean.

You don't hear of that kind of service normally! Hmmmmm...thinking about switching to a Mac now!
