Trip Report

Vancouver, WA

We left Vancouver, WA in the rain which followed us all the way to the California border. The ride was fun. In the process of eating meals (included in the fare) and loligagging in the lounge car, I met lots of fascinating people including a fellow Canon 40D owner. I recommend train travel as a change of pace and a great way to relax.

Now I am back in SD getting reoriented to SoCal life.

Nice to have you back, Robin...I'm sure it was quite a change for you, especially the weather, but since you were snug inside, with all meals prepared I'm sure it was relaxing for you !! Look forward to any other iamges you gathered along the way. !!

I think I will take your recommendation for train travel seriously. I think it would be fun and relaxing.
