Yesterday I mentioned being stuck for a while atop a mountain pass in the Cascades while transiting in a Amtrak train. Here is another view, plus below a shot of the trees as we passed. What an incrredible winter wonderland!

Very nice photo Robin. Was this trip to Oregon and Washington part of a package, or just a commute to visit someone. I would really love to take a long train trip, especially one like this.

Amazing shot Robin. Always blows my mind to leave dry country and then start climbing to find such a huge change in conditions. No wonder animals leave the high country in the winter to seek food at the lower levels. Hope you were bundled up all nice and warm.....
