Near Escondido

A reprise from yesterday; the view from inside the helicopter cockpit enroute to the “No Quarry” shots.

By the way I count at least 3 photographers at work on the ground in the image below .

Canon EOS 5D ,Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM
1/100s f/7.1 at 24.0mm iso400 full exif

How cool that you got your photo in the paper. However, the anxiety I feel just looking at this photo, is more than I can bear.

Nice work

Great photoshopping of the outside world in those windows. It appears by the instruments that your not flying. Looks like the NR ( rotor tach) is at zero. Oil and fuel pressure is zero and the art. horiz. is inop. Mag switch is also in the O.F.F. position. :) The main rotor blade is a nice touch as well. Very nice job on the outside image inlay. I have tried to do this but can never get it to look this good. Worth a vote.

is there a parachute on that fire extingisher?
how come the ground looks tilted in that little round dial? how come you didn't fall out?
what would happen if my knee toggled that little thing right next to the big red knob?
NO THANKS!

Fantastic work, Robin. Good for you. Yesterday I thought I could see one of the photographers on ground....that is dedication...in the air and on the ground.

Fascinating, Robin. I'm so glad there's still people out there with a social conscience.
