Del Mar, CA

I met Herb in Del Mar for breakfast and some shooting at the San Dieguito Lagoon this morning. I tried out his 400mm prime lens which does a super job. The structure in the background with the flag is the Del Mar track just north of the Lagoon. It was made famous by Bing Crosby and Jimmy Durante. We saw many snowy egrets (pictured) and even a Great Blue Heron.

I'm glad you pointed out Herb and the Heron I always had difficulty remembering my right from my left. ;-) Great Shot Robin and a great piece of PS. :-)

I suspected that was Herb on the left 'cause the Blue Heron wouldn't wear red :^) Nice shooting.

Great capture of the bird Robin, it must have been very windy for the flag to be blowing so hard.
