Pad Fest Tour 2005 – Day Four

Silverton, CO

As mentioned Friday, I'm doing a retrospective all this week. On day 4 we traveled from Cortez via Durango and Silverton to Ouray and Montrose.

In And Out of Jail

With Bre and Gayle heading back home, I joined Di and Bandito for the rest of the trip.

The length of this leg was much shorter, so we had lots of time to stop and have fun and shoot our little hearts out. We spent the day in the heart of the San Juan Mountains crossing on 11,000 foot Red Mountain Pass and over the famous Million Dollar Highway down into Ouray. We even went off roading up to 13,000 feet northeast of Silverton.

Unfortunately in Silverton Bandito was thrown in jail for using too many lenses, however I was oblivious to his plight as I relaxed outside on a bench. LOL

You are certainly offering a balanced report with your image selection.
I liked today's slideshow as well. The images seem to have a little extra punch, nice job.

Holy cow, Batman! You have certainly put together a nice series of shots, and the slideshows are really nice! This trip was definitely one of the all-time highlights - I go back to all of our galleries often, because we had such a great time. Thanks for springing me from jail that day ;-)

I am still trying to figure out the reasoning behind this retrospective. I thought you said you were reworking the images from last year and if so, why not put a link to the original processing job? If it is simply to enjoy looking back on a really good time, then that's another story altogether and so I will just shut up. I well remember the original post of bandito in Jail. I can't say I remember this shot of you scrounging around for lunch.
