July 24: Verano Sunset

I’m trying out a new little Canon point and shoot. I gave my Panasonic to my grand niece Lisa last week, and I do like having a little camera to carry around in the car.

I was called to jury duty today for the first time in years. After being oriented and waiting a couple of hours, the entire panel of over 200 people was sent home. It turns out all trials for the day were continued or plead out! I'm now exempt for one year!

it did an admirable job I think. A bit more noise than you might otherwise have but still a beautiful shot.

lol! Our system must be joined with yours. I got my summons a week ago, for the end of August. A bad time, so I figured the chances of getting pulled in Feb were much greater (who would accept the invite for dead winter??) and so just got assigned for 25th (?) Feb.
I get a summons 1x a year, never fails.
