June 8: Haute Cuisine

Rancho Bernardo, CA

Lynn’s birthday present to me was a ticket to a cooking demonstration “Brunch on the Patio” that I attended the other evening. I’ll test out my new skills on her and Don soon.

In the meantime, I think canned soup and sandwich is the answer for me!

Nice PS work Robin, hope it was nice..:>

Looks very healthy Robin - except I hope the words you see between the handles of the can opener are "No Fat" LOL :)

Fabulous SC here. My kind of meal here;-)

Great selective coloring. Looks like a healthy lunch to me. Throw some spices into the tuna salad to show what you learned. :)
Dan Chusid09-Jun-2006 05:16
Mix in some ice cream...
...just for balance.

No PS means no PS!
The PS police!
Herb 09-Jun-2006 02:23
Nice shot, I am impressed how you define the non PS rules creatively from day to day
Karen Leaf09-Jun-2006 02:23
I shouldn't say it but since you're learning, I find the tuna in oil tastes better, Not better for you, but not as dry, and if it's not as dry you don't need to use 1/2 the bottle of mayo :)
Julia's child, lol!

Wonderful detail and clarity!

LOL, It took me a good ten minutes to find the trickery without looking at Gary's post...ya got me good this time, Robin...:)
Breland08-Jun-2006 22:39
In with the new and out with the old eh Robin. I like the comp.
Robin Reid08-Jun-2006 21:22
@Gary ... no trickery. Selective coloring etc are okay. NOT adding images that weren't there in the first place.

If that's cream of chicken soup, all you need is cooked pasta & you have a tuna bake !!
While your at it, run the counter over the fish & check the mercury levels...you may be shocked into just the soup !!
Zak08-Jun-2006 20:07
Tuna-tastic!
Gary Winters08-Jun-2006 20:03
BAsed on this image, it looks like you are a complete beginner in the kitchen. And isn't this breaking your PS self-imposition, or was that just no trickery?
Kenneth Zimmerman08-Jun-2006 19:53
Why a can opener with a pop-top can?
Robin Reid08-Jun-2006 19:48
LOL @ Gary. I was hoping someone would notice my little joke.
Gary Blanchette08-Jun-2006 19:38
Between the opener and tabs I hope you can manage to get the two cans open... :-)

I like the sound of the "syrup and whipped honey creme" . . .
Coleen Perilloux Landry08-Jun-2006 19:16
lovely black and white and read all over. Imazing what you can add to those two to make it haute cuisine.
northstar3708-Jun-2006 19:16
the cookery!
JW08-Jun-2006 19:15
I hope that's 'Dolphin-friendly' tuna!

I find cooking's easier when alcohol is applied liberally to the chef!
