On Final

San Diego, CA

The approach to San Diego’s Lindbergh Field to runway 27 is infamous for how near the jets get to the ground when landing. The gull (below) didn’t seem too concerned.

Canon EOS 5D ,Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM
1/320s f/13.0 at 28.0mm iso200 full exif

Took a few approach shots at Lindbergh Field a few years back. Wonder why I didn't get a shot like this? ;-)

By defination to land you have to get close to the ground. Getting close to the buildings is another matter.......

Is the plane really there Robin? I would hope they get close to the ground when landing. ;-) I'm disturbed by how close it is to the building, though.
