Sitting by the window in the Marine room during high tide heightened by an onshore swell made for a spectacular birthday dinner with Colleen. Waves crashed against the window as we celebrated.

It was impossible to catch the tide breaking high on the glass with my little Pentax, however the shot below will give you a bit of a feel.
