While listening to *** KCME.FM*** from Colorado Springs on my computer this late morning I heard Beethoven’s 9th Symphony. It was so wonderful I found myself welling up with joy and elation. I’m often deeply moved by classical music and Ludwig Beethoven is my favorite composer.

Back in my high school days I used to work at the FM station which preceded KCME (KCMS-FM). I was able to play classical music all night long on the weekends as long as the phone requests came in. I was paid for my work there, however I would have been happy to give them money for the pleasure of spinning the LP records into the early hours.
