Man of the Hour

Rancho Bernardo, CA

This neighborhood pumpkin was graced by today's morning light.

You need to know I am not a big fan of Halloween; mostly because it has become so over-commercialized and the fact it focuses on negative feelings. I know lots of kids love it, but I'm not a kid and we don't have any in this neighborhood. So tonight I'm leaving the porch and front lights turned off.

Does this mean I shouldn't trick-or-treat at your house? I was expecting good candy...lol. Nicely done!

Nice shot, I like the rings of light on the right. I must say, I LOVE Halloween, but if you don't, you don't. Take a measure of delight that it's over. I was at a mall today, and found the department stores had all been decorated -- for CHRISTMAS! Ugh!

nicely done Robin!

And for the record... I don't much like pumpkins either. But then again I am just not a fan of round items. Its a quirk, I admit it. Circles make me nuts.
snootydog01-Nov-2005 03:30
By the way, this is one ugly pumpkin carving!

I thought I was the only one who didn't like halloween. Glad to know I've got company. But on a different note... are you getting any of my comments? I leave them for you and then they disappear. Or maybe you have me on your blocked comments list?

Cool effect! No trick or treaters here either!

I'm not much of a halloweener either, pretty much for the same reasons. Anyway, great picture.

What's the antithesis of a Christmas ba humbug, probably a Halloween ho happy. Likely that's good! Creative image, again.
