I frequently admire Herb’s wonderful ***hummingbird shots,*** so I leapt at the chance to catch this one in Balboa Park. This is Carol Foster working the artist colony area.

Below is a little guy grabbing a quick drink in one of the Park’s fountains.

altho I enjoy your acpture of an artist in her domain and the fact that her painting is awe-inspiring . . I actually prefer your fountain dipper over the one you chose for today's PaD =)

I hope you don't mind my saying this... your photography skill has really grown exponentially in the time I've known you. The composition here is so spot on. I mean, maybe I would take and inch or so off the top and maybe I'd take a bit more off the right side, but it really isn't necessary. This is just great. And oh her hummingbird is a beauty too.
