October 17: Harbor Cruise

San Diego, CA

Kent and Kay have departed. I drove them to the airport today. After I dropped them off I had some time to kill before an appointment, so I pointed my long lens across San Diego Bay.

The very few folks on that tourist ship must be vacationing and there will be no whales seen today. Someone also forgot to tell the weatherman that it doesn’t rain in Southern California.

Like this in B&W. Super job with the comp and processing. In fact, I keep looking at it... and like it more and more. Voting.

@Cindy ... I converted the image in Photoshop.
Cindy Flood18-Oct-2005 02:12
That cityscape really lends itself to black and white. Did you use the 20D in-camera b&w or photoshop?

I hope they had a great stay, Robin. Sometimes mother nature can be downright cruel...:)

I like the b+w choice, nice to switch out the light occasionally. The whales are in our southern waters right now so the watching tours have been busy.
Zak17-Oct-2005 22:58
