September 26: Scenes from my backyard

Rancho Bernardo, CA

My first professional teacher ***Jeff Kida*** challenged us to stand in one spot and find as many images as possible without moving.

I fudged a little bit this morning by putting on my big lens and swiveled around on the tripod for a few shots which are thrown together here.

Canon EOS 20D ,Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM
1/500s f/13.0 at 400.0mm iso400 with 2x extender full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Nice PS work.

Fresh lemons - how wonderful. Looks like you've got your fair share of oleander and palms/yuccas too. Neat work.

You have lemons!

Ah, great shots and more PS sorcery!

It is a good idea. Can I do the side yard since my backyard is knee deep in weeds?? And probably snakes and all kinds of fun stuff?

Nicely set off with the green b/g

interesting idea! Great captures.

I would try that, but since I shoot my backyard almost everyday...it wouldn't be anything new! Neat idea though, and nicely executed, Mr. PS Wizard.

Way cool idea! I'm going to try it in the back yard. May have a little trouble trying to copy your PS work here though. ...That won't be the first time though.

That's a very cool exercise! I happen to like the weeds! (Wouldn't have known they were weeds, if it hadn't been mentioned below!) Nice presentation too! You PS guru!!

You grow your own lemons! Now that is cool!
Guest 26-Sep-2005 21:16
i was going to say the bottom right pic is a pic of some nasty weeds. :))
Herb 26-Sep-2005 21:02
You have to do something about those weeds, Robin
