The caption is not what you think.
After winding up my visit to Colorado I bid**farewell** early this morning, and wended my way Northwest following the Wind River toward the Grand Teton NP.
It was a picture perfect day ;-) and I was on cruise control most of the time in sparse traffic winding along Highway 287 across Wyoming. I wound up my day here at Jackson Lodge.
The Wyoming winds, however, were fierce. I'd say they were gusting around 40 mph at least. However the route from Lander into the Park was a jaw dropping experience; it was just plain gorgeous late in the day.
I did get out of the car to take some shots and almost got stuck driving to this one near Du Bois. Below is one glancing back to the East as you enter the Park.
Alas, I am getting too windy, and it is time for me to wind down this dialogue. More tomorrow night.
